DEWALT DNP618 Edge Guide for Fixed Base Compact Router
Customer Reviews
This is a well designed and very useful edge guide sold at a reasonable price. It even has a place for screw storage when not in use. It is much more compact than the DeWalt DW6913 Router Edge Guide with Fine Adjustment and Vacuum Adaptor. I prefer the separate vacuum adaptors, one for each base. Also, it does work with both the fixed and plunge bases. One small fault is that the scales, imperial and metric, do not have any number markings on them.
For what it costs, it works great. However, I did notice a design flaw and an inconvenient omission from the design. The omission is there are no number markings on the ruler. The design flaw is that the indents for the screw holes that make the screws come flush with the guide are on the wrong side. It doesn't really effect the performance though, it's just that if they overlooked this, then I have to wonder what else they overlooked.
